Where do the world's best trainers go to get their questions answered?
The Trainer's Trainer,
Rob Faigin
Some of the
world's most distinguished fitness professionals have adopted Natural Hormonal
Enhancement. Rob Faigin, NHE's author, is the acknowledged leader of a new breed of
fitness professional, one that: 1) is cognizant of the fact that hormones are
the
|
|
most
powerful biological forces in the human body and understands how to modulate diet,
exercise, and lifestyle as a means of harnessing these forces, 2) bases his/her
instruction on science, not convention and tradition informed by intuitive speculation, 3)
values truth and health over status and wealth. |
Very few authors feel an obligation to offer personal
guidance to individual readers. (As a general statement, the likelihood of getting a
response to a substantive question from a published health/fitness author is roughly
equivalent to the likelihood of a hippopotamus running through your living room sometime
during the next five minutes.) Rob Faigin is a striking exception, as evidenced by the Ask Rob section of this website. Rob feels
that his duty to you does not end - but rather begins - when you buy his book.
However, although the absolute number of reader's
questions to which Rob responds has not declined as the NHE readership has grown, the
percentage is shrinking. In response to this trend, Rob has sought to delegate some of his
self-assumed personal-assistance obligations to a select group of "NHE
counselors."
NHE counselors provide guidance, instruction, and
encouragement to individuals seeking to implement the life-changing Natural Hormonal
Enhancement program. Because Natural Hormonal Enhancement is a multi-dimensional program of sweeping scope and
overarching significance, NHE counselors have widely differing backgrounds and represent
various professional fields and academic disciplines. For example: champion bodybuilder,
professor of psychology, financial analyst, martial arts master, naturopathic physician.

the "subject"field is not completed or attachments are sent.) |
| The
following individuals are NHE counselors, recommended by Rob Faigin.
Brent Van Pelt ( Boise, ID - www.club-natural.com )
The first nationally recognized personal trainer to embrace
and publicly endorse NHE, Brent is a leading proponent of drug-free bodybuilding; and he
has the physique and competition resume' to back-up his assertions. You won't find a more
zealous, more earnest, or more dedicated fitness trainer.
Arthur Giacalone ( Walnut Creek,
CA arturgia@pacbell.net )
Sensitive to the needs of people of all ages and levels of
experience, Arthur can help you actualize your capacity for holistic fitness, vibrant
quality of life, and joyful well-being. He takes a patient and compassionate approach and
is exceptionally competent at teaching the often overlooked, but profoundly important,
aspects of NHE - lifestyle, and particularly, mental outlook and ways of creating lasting
behavioral change.
Trevor Beairsto ( Toronto, Canada
)
Trained and worked extensively with bodybuilding legend
Casey Viator before adopting NHE; a studious, extremely bright and energetic trainer with
a strong command of NHE principles and techniques.
George Baselice ( Levittown, NY www.worldsbesttrainer.com )
A master motivator who insists on bringing out the best in his clients and achieves this
objective with remarkable consistency, George combines a wealth of personal training
experience and an impressive track record with outstanding interpersonal skills.
Tom Lee ( Kingman, AZ www.naturodoc.com )
Combining ancient wisdom with cutting-edge science, Tom Lee is a consummate and
resourceful promoter of human wellness who rejects the inevitability of biological aging
and is at the vanguard of the natural health movement.
Tom Ranz ( Knoxville, TN teranz@mindspring.com )
Attention to detail, perceptiveness, and the ability to adapt to new situations
characterize Tom Ranz. Tom has far-ranging experience in the health and fitness industry,
which include physical therapy and health store owner. While his extensive training as a
computer engineer gives him an analytical advantage, his earnest desire to help people
attain optimal health and his modesty make Tom very approachable.
Nathaniel Hancock ( Provo, UT nathanielhancock@hotmail.com )
Beneath this fitness model's striking good looks resides a devoutly religious person who
embraces NHE's "honor and integrity" requirement with a fervor equaled only by
his dedication to helping to improve the lives of others. In addition to English, Mr. Utah
(lightweight division) can teach you NHE and motivate you in the French language. More
than a model, Nathaniel Hancock is a role model.
Lyle Goodman ( Ashtonfield, NSW, Australia lylegoodman@telstra.com
)
Australian musician extraordinaire and tennis coach, the multi-talented Lyle Goodman is
one of NHE's most vigorous proponents in the "land down under." An experienced
"Fitness Leader" (which is what certified trainers are called in Australia),
Lyle can lead you down the path to better fitness. |
Facts about NHE
Counselors
All of the aforementioned NHE counselors have advanced
degrees and/or certifications. However, consistent with Rob's philosophy (see Ask Rob, question submitted by Cheryl Kirkland)
that conventional credentials don't matter and are as likely to be a liability as an
asset, we do not represent such credentials on this website. Should you wish to
investigate the credentials of NHE counselors, you can do so by going to their respective
websites or requesting a resume' from them.
NHE counselors are not "Rob Faigin clones." Accordingly, a given NHE
counselor's views may not correspond precisely with Rob's views. All NHE counselors were
successful health professionals before NHE was published; hence, they possess a record of
accomplishment independent of NHE. Having said that, all NHE counselors embrace NHE and
feel that NHE has heightened their competence, deepened their understanding, and made them
more effective at fostering improved health and fitness in their clients.
There is no necessary financial relationship between
NHE counselors and Rob Faigin or Extique Publishing. NHE counselors typically sell the NHE
book; but neither Rob Faigin nor Extique pays them for acting as an NHE counselor nor do
NHE counselors pay Rob Faigin or Extique for the opportunity to act in this capacity.
Unlike Rob Faigin, who profits from the sale of Natural Hormonal Enhancement and provides
assistance and advice to NHE readers at no cost, NHE counselors are monetarily compensated
for their assistance and advice by their clients. No portion of their fee is remitted to
Extique or Rob Faigin.
NHE counselors may accept or decline prospective
clients as they see fit. There are no requirements regarding how many clients they must
accept or how they schedule or carry-out appointments; and neither Rob Faigin nor Extique
regulates or influences NHE counselor's fee structure or amount.
NHE counselors have no set tenure. They may resign
their position at any time for any reason or for no reason. Conversely, Rob Faigin may
retract his recommendation at any time and remove an NHE counselor from the Extique
website if information comes to his attention that convinces him that his recommendation
was made in error or has subsequently become unwarranted. |
How Does One
Become an NHE Counselor?
NHE counselors are appointed by Rob Faigin, who relies
upon NHE reader recommendations. If you are an NHE reader and you know someone who you
feel merits consideration based on the criteria outlined below, please send a detailed
recommendation to info@extique.com. Soon (after the
Audio Personal Trainer is released) a certification program for NHE counselors will be
instituted, which will include a written competency test. Until then, the following
criteria govern selection of NHE counselors.
NHE counselors must be at least 18 years of age.
Conventional credentials (certifications, degrees,
etc.) are not relevant; they neither increase
nor decrease the probability that one will be appointed an NHE counselor.
Race, religion, gender, and national origin are not relevant. Ability to speak and write English
is relevant where the candidate resides in the
United States.
One's record of success at helping others improve their
life through better health and fitness is relevant.
Commitment to and application of the NHE program is highly relevant.
Understanding of and ability to articulate NHE
principles and techniques is highly relevant.
Passion and dedication to helping others improve their
life through better health and fitness is highly
relevant.
Honor and integrity are highly relevant.

Note - Until the Audio Personal Trainer becomes
available, no one, including NHE counselors, can claim knowledge of the specific details
of the NHE exercise program. That being said, NHE counselors are the most qualified to
give advice on how to formulate a training program consistent with the
hormonally-intelligent guidelines expounded in NHE.
Note - In the interest of keeping the level of NHE
counseling services as high as possible, we encourage NHE readers to share their
assessment of NHE counselors whose services they have enlisted. Please send evaluations
directly to Rob Faigin at nheauthor@extique.com.
DISCLAIMER: NHE counselors are not employed by Extique
Publishing or Rob Faigin. Neither Extique nor Rob Faigin is liable for the actions or
omissions of NHE counselors.
For more information about the program, including the
NHE counselors code of ethics and an inspiring Shakespearean passage, read Rob's letter to NHE counselors.
